Captain / First Mate � Toby Smith
Australian born Toby has seven years in the yacht industry, working as First Mate for the majority of these years. During this time he has developed an exceptional knowledge base enabling him to tackle the most adventurous of charter guests, as well as maintain yachts to the highest standard. Toby has experience cruising the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mediterranean and USA. He holds a Yacht Master 200t license and has previously worked on MINE GAMES, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, FOUR JACKS and KALEEN.
Toby stays active in his spare time with Fitness, Golf, Tennis, Surfing, Snowboarding and Skateboarding. He enjoys the adventure and travel that the yachting industry gives him. His love of all things aquatic translates into charter guests enjoying the very best a luxury yacht has to offer.
Engineer - Kevin Parkinson
Kevin Parkinson joined M/Y M3 as the Engineer on board. Kevin has been in yachting for 4 years and has been in the Engineering industry since a young age. He has always had a passion for mechanics and takes great pride in his work. Kevin is very practically minded and enjoys a challenge and will not rest until the job is 100%.
Although you will find Kevin mainly in the Engine room he is always willing to step in where needed on board. Kevin enjoys outdoor activities, water sports and when the opportunity arises getting stuck in the kitchen. Kevin was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up on the north coast of Durban in the seaside town of Salt Rock Ballito. He is family orientated, loves Motorcross which he spends a lot of his free time riding at home. Kevin is partnered with Brittney who is the 2nd Stew on board and they have had a steady relationship for 4 years.
Chef - Tyron Hardie
Tyron was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa. He Finished school and moved to Barcelona Spain where he completed a 4-year Business Administrations degree. Tyron started working in the yachting industry shortly after completing his degree. He worked as a chef onboard a busy private yacht in the Mediterranean for 2 years. He then decided to work as a chef in luxury ski Chalets in the French Alps for a season. Tyron returned to yachting and worked his way up the ranks working on an array of private and charter motor yachts over the past 3 years. Tyron recently completed a 12-week organic cooking certification at the Ballymaloe cookery school in Ireland and shortly after that headed to Antibes France to complete his Ships cook Certification. He then returned to the USA and joined the crew onboard motor yacht M3. Tyron cooks with flair and passion and combines his love for food with his knowledge of the best seasonal and international produce and ingredients. Tyron�s aim is to cater to any charter guest�s food and dietary requirements, whilst staying creative and providing his diners with a culinary experience at every meal.
Chief Stewardess � Stefany Mullen
Stefany was born in a small town outside of Atlanta, GA. She spent most of her youth traveling with her family to and from different cities and states in the Southern U.S., becoming quite accustomed to being the �new kid in school.� When moving to Fort Lauderdale 16 years ago she quickly realized her passion for the ocean and vowed to never leave. After managing several land based businesses that kept her working behind a desk, she decided it was time for a drastic change. Stefany joined the yachting industry three years ago and quickly gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that she is eager to add to as well as an insatiable appetite for travel.
She enjoys scuba diving, long boarding and has an extreme passion for fitness. She is always striving to live an adventurous and spontaneous lifestyle and she is very grateful for the opportunities that the yachting industry continuously provides her.
2nd Stewardess - Brittney Aboud
Brittney Aboud is the 2nd stew on board and she joined yachting to be with Kevin. She has loved being a stewardess especially with the highlight of travelling. Brittney is a creative individual who was the senior Graphic designer of O�Niell South Africa before joining the industry. She enjoys people and takes pride in her work. Brittney loves to be active and to keep a healthy body and mind, practicing in yoga and meditation. Brittney was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa and moved to Durban at a young age growing up close to the sea. She has found a great passion for wine tasting and learning about the different cultivars etc. and is a great lover of art.
Along with Kevin, they complement each other personally and professionally make a great team together.
3rd Stewardess - Emma Faulks
Emma was brought up on the east coast of Australia where the sea was a part of her life from a young age. She was involved in nippers and then progressed to volunteering patrol’s on a Sundays, helping keep the local community safe. She has always enjoyed a sporty and active lifestyle. Emma was introduced into yachting a year ago through a friend who has traveled around the world on the water. Yachting has allowed her to pursue her passion of travelling and exploring new and desirable places whilst on the water.
Deckhand - Andrew McNair
Born and raised in Durban South Africa, Drew has been living an active lifestyle and seeking adventure from a young age. After leaving school, he pursued a career in Finance, only to discover a sedentary lifestyle was not suited to him. In 2012 he travelled to Florida and joined his first yacht and has been working on the sea’s ever since.
Deckhand - Stephen Du Preez
Growing up in Durban, Stephen�s parents are commercial fishermen which sparked his interest in the ocean and his fishing career at quite a young age. As Stephen got a little older pursued a career in professional body-boarding and competing at the highest level in South Africa and abroad. Since coming into the yachting industry Stephen has thoroughly enjoyed it. The industry being well suited to him while still allowing him the time to do all the things he has grown up doing. In his spare time Stephen enjoys free-diving, spearfishing, fishing and a bit of indoor soccer on the side.
