CREW PROFILE FOR HOYA SAXA
Captain Jeremy spent his early years sailing in Australia and after completing his schooling he worked as an engineer on a commercial supply ship. From there he moved to Europe where he managed boats, refits and worked on a variety of charter yachts. His experience ranges from engineer of 38-60M mega yachts, years of solo sailing on his own boat, running a charter company and working as a helicopter pilot.
Jeremy met Jennifer on one of his sailing adventures that took him to Central America. She’s from Costa Rica and studied English, tourism and web design. Together they operated a local charter boat operation where she handled the business from bookings to marketing while also working on board as the mate. The two worked so well as a team so they decided to sail across to the South Pacific on their own boat visiting destinations such as the Galapagos, Easter Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga, Fiji and every remote atoll in-between. They have navigated a total of 21 countries across 26,000 NM - pretty impressive!
Jen and Jeremy have a passion for preparing creative fresh meals on the water and will serve boat caught produce at every chance they have. They offer a two-week sample menu along with a detailed preference sheet for each guest so that they can exceed your expectations and leave you longing to return.
