Diving Costs information

Shaun has been a professional mariner since 2010. He has sailed around the world on various vessels with a focus on remote expedition cruising areas. With an education from the University of Johannesburg, Shaun is qualified as a practicing attorney and holds degrees in economics and international tax. His education has assisted Shaun in navigating the legislative and regulatory aspects of yachting with ease, providing for safe and efficient running of vessels in line with what is required by flag and port states. Shaun is from South Africa and has strong family values. He takes pride in teaching and mentoring his crew to progress their careers in a professional and responsible manner. Sharing his knowledge and love for the ocean, Shaun always places the safety of the Vessel, crew and guests as paramount while providing a service that allows clients to create memorable moments.


Rich was born on one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean: Jamaica. At the age of 22, he successfully completed a four-year bachelor’s degree in Maritime Heat Engineering at the Caribbean Maritime University from which he graduated with honors. He then obtained his Certificate of Competency (Engineering License). For the last 8 years, Rich has been in the yachting industry, enjoying travelling, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. He is a very friendly person and has a wonderful laugh. Rich is mature and sensible and the most important thing for Rich is to have a clean/drama free work environment where personal and professional growth is encouraged. It is also important for him to fulfill his role as chief engineer to ensure that all machinery and equipment is operating safely and is maintained for everyone onboard, so that guests remain relaxed and comfortable while enjoying all the amenities LADY S has to offer.


Jason Pender was born in Durban, South Africa. He grew up in a small town near the ocean and fell in love with it from a very young age. He has surfed for most of his life, representing his province on many occasions. Jason started in the yachting industry in 2012 and since then has worked his way up. He holds his OOW <3000gt ticket and hopes to complete his Chief Mate ticket in the near future and then move on to a Master 3000gt ticket to one day become a captain.


Frances is from KwaZulu-Natal, a coastal province of South Africa. She is a certified offshore yachtmaster, RYA cruising Instructor and Master scuba diver instructor, and is also a qualified yoga instructor and CASI snowboarding Instructor. Frances is a farm girl and scuba diving, sailing and the ocean have always been a passion of hers. Since graduating University, she has been fortunate to have varied roles throughout the yachting industry. She has held captain, chef, deckhand and stew positions on vessels ranging from 45 – 130 feet. Frances is a positive, confident and detail oriented person, capable of working in a team or on her own initiative. Her dream is to share her love for the ocean, on and underneath the surface. She is looking to gain knowledge from her peers in the industry and hopes to become a yacht captain on a large vessel one day.


Sam grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. After completing high school, Sam studied Law at the university of Pretoria, but soon found out that she wanted to explore what the rest of the world had to offer. Sam is a happy, bubbly person with a fantastic sense of humour and thirst for adventure. She strives to live a balanced life, so while she is training for her first full marathon, she still finds the time to appreciate a good glass of wine with her family and friends. Sam's yachting career has allowed her to travel through the South African, French, Italian and Spanish winelands where she learnt to appreciate some of the finest wines around the world. Sam is a hard worker and thrives in an excellent team environment that LADY S is so proud to have onboard.


Born in the UK, Kates parents fled the cold for the beautiful Southern Tip of Africa! A proud African who grew up on an olive farm in Cape Town. Kate has had anything but a dull life. Choosing to try many different careers has allowed her to really experience the world - 42 countries and counting. Kate is a qualified interior architect, a graphic illustrator, an event designer, wedding co-ordination specialist, clinical social worker. You get the drift, our Kate is the mama bear of the crew and just wants to look after people while making the world a better, more beautiful place. Nothing gets Kate more excited than creating unique experiences for guests. Kate is deeply passionate about social causes and wildlife conservation and she counts opening a baby rhino orphanage, working with Oprah, HRH the Prince of Wales and knowing all the lyrics to Salt n Papa’s hit classic “Shoop” as her greatest achievements! This girl will never say no to an exotic location and is here at your service to make sure you collect memories to last a lifetime.


Normand started working in restaurants as prep cook at an early age. His love of cuisine was transmitted by his mother who was a great cook, and enhanced by his curiosity about different foods. After first studying Engineering at University, he realized he wanted to live from his passion so he went to L’institut de Tourisme et d’Hotellerie du Québec in Montreal, Canada to study French cuisine. After graduating, he worked as a Chef in a Hotel located in a ski resort in Whistler Canada where he was able to practice his favourite sport: Skiing. He then went on to work at a restaurant in St Thomas, VI for a few months before heading to the Med on a sail boat. Once in Monaco, he started his career as Chef onboard a 42 m yacht, and has been in the Yacht charter industry ever since. In his free time, Normand enjoys cycling, swimming and travelling.
